The Desert was churning and from there came Bloodthirsty warlike barbarians, who were with a new zeal for their unusual  Jealous God, this idea of a god who seeks slaves, who don't question wasn't very new.  But this was the latest version of it and was very effective. It had defeated the two superpowers of the ancient world Rome who ruled over Greeks, Egyptians, and Syrians in the west, and  Persian who ruled over Mesopotamians, Turks, and even some parts of India. they spread with great speed conquering one city after another and pillaging them to ruins.
